He is on the teaching faculty at The Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (CARD) where he passes on his expertise and skill in cosmetic and restorative dentistry to dentists from all around the world. Meet Our Cosmetic Dentist – Ronald Bosher, D.D.S., F.A.G.D.
Ron Bosher, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., has an impressive list of credentials and a career that spans more than 30 years. His warmth and sincerity makes everyone he meets an immediate friend. His long-term success can be attributed to the lasting relationships he forms with his patients and the dedication he has to serve his community as a volunteer and humanitarian. Dr. Bosher’s professional achievements have placed him at the top of his profession as a successful cosmetic dentist, entrepreneur, published author, and teacher.
Dr. Bosher and his wife, Sally, reside in Plano, Texas, and they are active and dedicated participants in their church. The Bosher’s also have an avid love for travel, which has taken them to many of the far reaches of the world, with several repeat visits to the Tuscan region, a family favorite.
Education and Experience
Ron Bosher, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Texas Tech University, and he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Bosher spent 25 years as the dentist for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team and has been the regional dentist for the U.S. Olympic Committee. He was also appointed the Chief Dental Officer for the World Cup USA in 1994.
Most recently, Dr. Bosher was invited to join the teaching faculty at The Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (CARD). CARD is a premier postdoctoral center where dentists from all around the world come for comprehensive, hands-on education in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry and facial pain therapy (TMJ treatment) from some of the premiere dentists in the United States. As an experienced dentist, Dr. Bosher also serves as a Clinical Evaluator for the American Dental Association, evaluating new dental products and publishing his results for other dentists.
Professional Memberships
Since 1975, Dr. Bosher has been a member of the Dallas County Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 1987, he was awarded a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
Awards and Volunteer Work
Dr. Bosher received a Special Service Award from the Dallas County Dental Society in 2006, for assembling and leading a team of volunteer dentists, oral surgeons, and support staff at the Dallas County Convention Center in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
- Every year, Dr. Bosher provides expertise and service to Dallas-area under-privileged children for Christina’s Smile, a non-profit group.
- Dr. Bosher participates in missionary work in Peru, coordinated through Christ Church Plano and Medical Ministries International. MMI sends teams of physicians and dentists to counties around the world that have no access to treatment.

Our Practice
When you visit the practice of Ron Bosher, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., you are welcomed and made to feel like a part of the family. Our office, located in Plano, Texas, was recently remodeled and features a peaceful atmosphere and special amenities. Our waiting area is always stocked with refreshments and magazines, and we do everything we can to help you relax when you visit us. You can listen to your favorite music or watch high-definition satellite TV on big screens while you relax in our massage chair during treatments. We also offer pillows and blankets to make sure that you are completely comfortable. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable during your visit.

Our Staff

Renee, Dental Assistant
Renee, our dental assistant, is originally from Missouri and moved to Texas in 1998. She now lives with her husband and two children in Plano. Renee has worked with our cosmetic dentist since 2002, and serves as his lead assistant. Renee says, “I have a passion for dentistry and the patients for which I care.” She enjoys rock climbing, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
Jana, Office Manager
Jana has worked for Dr. Bosher since graduating from Texas Tech University in 2001. She lives in Plano with her husband Matthew. As the practice manager, Jana says, “I am responsible for having the office run smoothly for our patients. I love the everyday interaction with people and have never met a stranger. I look forward to meeting you and your families soon!” Jana enjoys photography and her friends.
Julie, Dental Hygienist
Julie has lived in Plano with her husband and four daughters for 11 years. She graduated from Tarrant County Dental Hygiene program in 1981 and has more than 15 years of clinical experience in dental hygiene, six of those spent with Dr. Bosher. Julie says that her goal is “…always to make patients feel comfortable and at ease while delivering gentle, yet comprehensive care. I look forward to providing you with excellent dental care.”

Dr. Bosher is proud to be a part of the American Dental Association (ADA) Clinical Evaluator Program. As part of this group of esteemed dentists from throughout the nation, Dr. Bosher provides unbiased, scientifically sound, and clinically relevant reviews of new dental products to help other dentists choose the best for their patients. The group’s findings are published quarterly in the Professional Product Review (PPR), which is read by dental professionals worldwide.

Being a patient that needs a lot of dental work or has had it in the past, having a great dentist is very important (especially since I hate going to the dentist). Ever since I met Dr. Bosher, Jana, Renee, Julie and the entire staff, I really enjoy going to the dentist now and actually look forward to my visits. I really like that the staff was a friendly and jovial staff. The Dr. and the hygienist were both caring and concerned that I not have to endure any unnecessary discomfort or pain. I am a big baby when it comes to mouth pain, which is probably the main reason I don't go to the dentist as often as I should. However I am beginning to see that not all dentist are rough and tuff get the job done type dentist. This makes me very happy and more willing to see the dentist/hygienist more frequently.
