Dr. Bosher has more than 30 years’ experience serving the dental needs of patients in Plano and throughout Texas as a general and cosmetic dentist. What do you do to ensure patient safety?
Our office meets and exceeds OSHA safety standards and we take precautions to ensure your safety at our practice. Our sterilization equipment is professionally tested each week to ensure its safety. In addition, our staff receives continual training and updates on infection control protocols, and our entire team stays up-to-date on the latest sterilization procedures.
Does your office accept my insurance plan?
We feel that everyone should receive high caliber dentistry at an affordable price. We are in-network providers for Delta Premier and Blue Cross Federal. We do not participate in any DMO programs. Our office has the ability to determine your benefits on your first visit for most plans so that we can help you obtain the maximum benefit from your insurance coverage.
What do I do if I have an emergency when the office is closed?
Please call our practice, serving the Frisco, McKinney, Plano, and Richardson, Texas areas, and Dr. Bosher or the dentist on call will get back with you as soon as possible.
Will I be charged if I need to cancel an appointment?
We understand that your schedule may change abruptly, so please contact the practice of Ron Bosher, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., immediately if you need to cancel an appointment. We would be happy to reschedule you for a more convenient time. If you must cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, we reserve the right to charge you a cancellation fee.
Does your office accept children as patients and what age should they start dental care?
Our office is an adult comprehensive restorative practice, and we welcome children over age 14. In general, children should start seeing a dentist by age three or four.
How do I fit the dental care I want into my budget when my insurance covers very little?
We will work with you to find a financing plan that fits your budget. We offer several financing options, including a savings for advance payment, financing plans through CareCredit® and Capital One®, and we also accept payment with major credit cards.

Financing Options
Our dentist wants everyone to receive the dental care they need when they need it. That’s why we offer a range of financing options to help make dental care affordable. We accept most major insurance plans; however, your policy may not cover all dental services we provide, and it may only pay a portion of the total cost of your treatment. For any services not covered by your insurance, we offer the financing options listed below:
- Bookkeeping Savings Plan: We offer a 6 percent discount for prepayment in full. Senior citizens receive a 10 percent discount. The full amount of your treatment must be paid prior to your first visit. We accept payment by cash, personal check, or credit card including Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, and Discover® Card.
- Pre-authorized Debit: You can authorize us to debit your checking or credit card for up to four months, and balances will be carried at 1.5 percent interest per month after 30 days.
- CareCredit®: CareCredit® offers flexible payment plans with low monthly payments and no interest if paid off within 12 months. With a CareCredit® plan, you can start treatment right away, and use the funds for yourself and other family members.
- Capital One® Healthcare Financesm: A variety of plans and payment options are available through Capital One® Healthcare Financesm. These plans have no hidden charges or fees, no prepayment penalties, and low interest rates.
